We all have a connection to wairua.
After over 16 years of connecting people to tūpuna ancestors, wairuatanga spirituality and matekitetanga intuitive insight, there is one thing I know for sure; we ALL have our own connection to wairua spirit. It is not something that needs to be resourced from outside of us. It's an internal connection.
This modern world has pulled us away from traditional ways of knowing, doing and being that acknowledge the flow of wairua within us all. Many of us struggle to even slow down enough to acknowledge ourselves as wairua beings.
Ahurewa is a monthly guided space. Dedicate time to slow down and listen.
It's your date with wairua.
Ahurewa is not a space where I will give you the answers, it's an invitation for you to learn how to hear your own. Ahurewa is a space where you will be gently guided back to your own awareness of wairua, what it feels like, what it means for you and how to nurture the awareness.
Ahurewa is a space to relax. To tune in. To remember.
What to expect.

Meet your host

He uri au nō Ngāti Apakura, Ngāti Maniapoto, Waikato Tainui hoki.
Ko Kylie Paekau tōku ingoa.
I am a Mahi Wairua practitioner and Hauora Facilitator with years of experience supporting whānau on their healing journeys.
I'm on a mission to normalise our connection to wairua, to take away the fear of wairua experiences that came with the loss of our mātauranga and to support hauora through re-indigenising our connection to spiritual practices.
I believe you are your own best healer.
And that your tūpuna walk with you.
